Cutting Tools
Before a new bearing can be installed, obviously the old one has to be removed. If the bearing was swaged into place then a cutting tool is specifically designed for a certain size of bearing and will carefully cut the lip of the old bearing off hence allowing it to be drifted or pulled out of the assembly. The cutter tools are hand operated (portable) so it is easy to see the degree of cut into the bearing lip hence makes the damage to assemblies far less likely.
Like their staking tool counter parts there is one cutter tool per bearing size. The cutter heads can be changed or sharpened as required.
