THE PROCESS

The Drill Press Cutter Tool is used to cut either the v-groove of a bearing, retention sleeve or v-groove of a housing. The process cuts a relief on the lip so it is able to be pressed out without damaging the housing. The drill press cutting tool is carefully engineered with the outside diameter of the teeth smaller than the housing bore so it is impossible to cut the housing in operation.
