Mud Slurry and Dust Boxes are typically used to evaluate the effectiveness of a bearing's seals. These specialised extremely aggressive testing machines evaluate if the bearing seal will perform to a level that meets or exceeds the demands of the application.
Our environmental testing program consists of single source and A to B comparison testing to fit the needs of each individual customer. The goal of testing is to determine the amount of time needed to reach a medium contamination level, classified by a visual and spin test inspection matrix.
Once the test is completed and the desired results are achieved, the customer will be provided with valuable information needed to manufacture a bearing seal to function successfully in the application.
