Metric Cam Follower Lubrication

One thing that sets UNASIS apart from other Metric Cam Followers manufacturers is UNASIS’ can be lubricated through 2 different ports; this includes through the head of the stud on hex drive types. This allows much easier relubrication of the bearing once it is mounted in application compared to standard metric cam followers.

A grease nipple can be found in both the head and the stud, creating no protrusions or obstructions whilst in application. This then allows significant space saving, as designs will no longer have to account for a large grease nipple that typically would have created an obstruction.

 

Hex-Port lubrication grease nipples arrive preinstalled in the innovative UNASIS Metric Cam Followers; this saves you time, and an extra grease nipple and plug are supplied so they can be accessed in the future depending on your unique application needs.Customers are able to reduce their inventory by allowing lubrication through the hex head, as this surpasses the need for stocking slot head or unsealed cam followers.

 

The bespoke UNASIS Metric Cam Followers are interchangeable with well-known brand sizes. This means you can have a top specification cam or yoke rollers with all the needed features from one brand. A full copy of part number substitutions can be found in our catalogue.
