Another MRO show in the books with resounding success. As the Aerospace market continues to bounce back, Aviation Week’s 2023 Fleet & MRO Forecast, “predicts that commercial MRO demand in the North America region will represent a value of $233.7 billion for 2023-32.” [Source] This will yield greater demand for high-quality and low-cost bearings for the aviation market through PMA and DER repair approvals.
Carter Americas demonstrated their value in the PMA-bearing space this year at the MRO Americas show in Atlanta. On display were Carter’s ball, needle, roller, and spherical plain bearings uniquely aligned for PMA and DER repairs. Carter offers reverse engineering and custom Aerospace bearing support for their wide customer base to obtain PMA bearing approvals at competitive costs and delivery times.
The demand for this niche service was demonstrated at this event. Many existing and new customers were impressed with our manufacturing lead time, technical expertise, and product quality for PMA bearings. We look forward to following up on all the new opportunities that this event provided for us including a main shaft turbine roller bearing project, a gearbox roller bearing project, and a female threaded slot loader style rod end bearing project among many others. These all fit perfectly within our capabilities.
Additionally, with the increased demand in the MRO field, the need for top-quality bearing swaging, cutting, proof load test, and torque test tools was in full force.
