Due to the significant technological advancements in robotics, automation, space and defense, there is a high demand for space-saving and weight-saving bearing solutions. The UNASIS thin section bearing ranges help to service this market; however, in order to further simplify the process, we have a range of lightweight, pre-greased, ready to assemble bearing units. Both easy to mount and easy to maintain the IKT and IPT bearings can be mounted via inner or outer ring.

A custom designed slewing ring which achieves high static load ratings whilst minimising weight. The bearing has been designed to withstand large forces created during shock loading conditions.

Custom bearing geometries and the utilisation of lightweight materials allow for significant weight savings within an application.

The ability to use a ride range of internal bearing types and sizes allows capacity to be maximised in a given envelope.

A wide range of transmission types can be incorporated into the bearing including and not limited to:

Spur gears, helical gears, belt profiles and chain drive.

The use of angular contact bearings and shims allows excellent clearance control for the bearing. This allows the frictional torque and free play in the bearing to be easily tailored to customer’s needs.
